Next were the tokens. The bottom layer is done with the SU scallop punch. On top of that is a 1.25" pink circle. On top of THAT is a 1" circle with our "theme" cake printed on it.
At this point I must confess. I found this cute cake on Publisher and then kept resizing it to fit whatever I was making. There was no way I would have been able to stamp that many cakes. As of right now I have about 1400 tokens made. I plan to have between 2,000 & 2,500 done by tomorrow.
When guests arrive they will be given the instruction card in a nice ecru oversized envelope. Also inside the envelope is a pink organza bag. Each guest's bag contains 10 tokens. Each token is valid for one dessert sample. So people will wander through the room, tasting decadent samples of dessert. We also have an espresso bar!
You will also notice a box of sour cream pouches. Those will be our raffle pouches. Instead of tickets we did pouches. Each one has chocolate in it, 3 of them hold cash! I only made 116 pouches.
But....see that cute little brown tag on the pouch? Well, I thought I was going to make 300 pouches, so I had made up 300 tokens several weeks ago. Gee, I have almost 200 left over now. Whoops!
