The $6 enviornment friendly slow drain fix

For years the drain in the main level bathroom has been slow. Slow slow and more slow! It makes my life pretty annoying. Tomboy Tools has a great little gadget no woman should be without. Actually, even men should not be without it! It is flexible and the end has a velcro like product on it. First I removed the drain cover, then I shoved it down the drain and wiggled it. At first I was unable to get more than 1/2" down the drain, but I kept clearing bits and pieces until the big long gross globby string came out. I really thought of running away at that point. Here are the pictures.

And guess what?? IT WORKS!!! The drain actually drains in a respectable amount of time. HOORAY for the plumbing velcro snake thing!! You too can have one for only $6, email me to order. They come in two sizes. A smaller one for sinks and a larger one for bathtubs. I would suggest if you only want one to get the smaller. The larger pad would not have it down my bathtub, the configuration of the supports in the pipe were very awkward. So the best bet would be to get both sizes, but again, if you only want one, go for small. It is crazy magic!!!

The very best part is that I could have used a half bottle of nasty cancer causing harsh chemicals, but NO!!!!
