They like to eat, yes they do!

--Molly started having tremors again after we left her today, so they put her under one more time. Later on she woke up and she has been holding her head high and trying to sit up.
They don't really want her to, but what do you do?
.
Molly sniffed the vet's hand and licked her a lot, so they decided to try some food. She ate it and was very happy.
.

Patch tried to walk tonight. His walking consisted of crawling across the floor, and that is okay.
.

Our vet and the ER vets all say it will be a few weeks before we are sure their vision is 100% and that all is well. There might be some damage, but I know they will be able to live healthy normal lives.
.
.
Am I now starting to wonder if Vegas would have made it? Yes, I am and I am not enjoying the stress, anxiety and guilt.
Jim says there was no way, but what if there was? What if I let him go too soon?
.
Just a note as well, though I am glad they lived, I can say should I ever have the need to have ER treatment on any of my pets, the hospital on Q street is the last place I will look. Friday night they had me nearly on the floor crying as they told me there was no purpose in working on our dogs and we should just put them down right there and now.
No purpose? I wonder how that vet will feel when they walk out of there!!!
.
In addition they were devils about money, just purely awful and without class.
.

So, I will be picking both of them up bright and early tomorrow. They won't be coming home at that point, but rather straight to the world's most wonderful vet, Dr. Tom!! Once he gives them the all clear they can come be with their family in their own home.
I can't imagine the confusion and fear they have felt over the last three days!
