There are easier ways to get me to clean the driveway

This morning as we were leaving for school we had a big adventure. Steven closed his door first and I heard what I thought was items being thrown into the way back of the car. I asked him what he was doing, no response.

Then I closed my door and I heard what sounded like pop cans being thrown into the back of the car. Seriously! What was that child doing???

I asked him again, still no response, so I looked back and exclaimed!!!

There was a large hole in the back of the car window and that tink tink tink sound I was hearing was glass falling into the car. Bummer. I got out and looked for signs of vandalism, there were none. The best theory we can come up with is a small crack or chip created a weak spot in the glass. When we shut the doors, the air had no where to go and blew out the window. Wow! What a weird thing to see.

So, my little buddy, Amy came and picked me up from the glass shop about 90 minutes later. Our insurance had been verified and hooray my deductible was only $100.

When I got home I had to clean up the glass in the driveway. But when I did that, I made a clean spot. So I had to clean more. Sweep sweep sweep! Then there was glass in the seams of the driveway, so I had to clean those out. I could not just clean ONE of them out. Then I noticed all the debris along the edge of the driveway and yard. So I started to clean that out, which made me realize how overgrown the grass had become, onto the driveway, so I edged it.

But once the edging of the driveway was complete, the sidewalk had to be done, and when that was done I had to do the part of the sidewalk going to the porch, which was when I noticed how dirty the porch stairs were. Finally, after all that was done I was ready to return to the driveway.

Then the flowerbed near the garage along the driveway looked so awful compared to the rest of the driveway. So I had to clean it out. Which made me notice the upper flower bed and how it was full of dead lives, so the rake came out. But then the leaves were stuck to the concrete blocks so the broom came back out, which then left more leaves in the lower flowerbed, so the rake came back out.

Just thinking about this makes me tired.

So......long story short: Two hours later the driveway looks spectacular!

I didn't want to bother anyone to come and get me and drive me to the glass shop so I got online and discovered it was only 3.98 miles, I can walk that, so I did. 59 minutes later I arrived at the glass shop and was so pleased. I don't think the back window has ever been that clean. The super duper awesome bonus is that all the neat people stickers on the back of the car are actually covered under our policy!!!!!!!!!
